This website has been made accessible as per the guidelines laid down by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and fully complies with Law no. 4/04 and subsequent amendments, including the ‘Technical requirements and different levels of accessibility of IT tools’ amendment, the amendments made to annex A of the Ministerial Decree of 8 July 2005 (published in Italian Official Gazette no. 217 of 16 September 2013), and Circular no. 61/2013 of the Agency for a Digital Italy on the accessibility of websites and IT services.

Requirement 1

Text alternatives: provide text alternatives for any non-text content so that it can be changed into other forms people need, such as large print, braille, speech, symbols or simpler language. Declaration: the ISWEB CMS provides text alternatives; for any non-text items included for information purposes, an equivalent text alternative is provided.

Requirement 2

For audio content, video content and animations: provide equivalent text alternatives for information conveyed through audio formats, video formats, formats containing animated images (animations), and multisensory formats in general. Declaration: the ISWEB CMS does not provide audio or video content or animations directly.

Requirement 3
Make it adaptable: create content that can be presented in different ways (for example, with simpler layouts), without losing the information or structure. Declaration: the ISWEB CMS makes it possible to present information in simpler page layouts without losing the structure and/or information.

Requirement 4

Make it discernable: make it easier for users to see and hear content by clearly separating content from the background. Declaration: the contrasts and differences in colour between the content and the background are sufficient: as well as using the contrast algorithm proposed by law as a point of reference, we keep a close eye on the work of the group that is currently developing the WCAG 2 (the new international accessibility guidelines), which will shortly replace the previous ones. The ISWEB CMS also allows us to display alternative versions of the website, including for users who suffer from visual impairments or colour blindness.

Requirement 5

Make it accessible from a keyboard: make all functions accessible from just a keyboard. Declaration: the ISWEB CMS ISWEB has built-in access keys for reaching the main areas of the website using just a keyboard.

Requirement 6

Give the user sufficient time: give the user sufficient time to read and use the content. Declaration: the ISWEB CMS does not use timed content that may prevent or limit the user from accessing information.

Requirement 7

Epileptic fits: do not develop content that could cause epileptic fits. Declaration: the content does not use flashing items or writing for information or aesthetic purposes.

Make it browsable: provide the user with support tools for browsing, finding content and determining their position on the website and its pages: Declaration: the ISWEB CMS provides users with tools for browsing, finding content and determining their position on the website and its pages.

Make it legible: make text content legible and clear. Declaration: the ISWEB CMS meets this requirement. 

Requirement 10

Make it predictable: create web pages that appear and behave in a predictable way. Declaration: the ISWEB CMS meets this requirement. 

Requirement 11

Provide assistance in submitting information: help the user to avoid errors and make it easy for them to correct any they do make. Declaration: the ISWEB CMS meets this requirement. 

Requirement 12

Compatible: guarantee maximum compatibility with the user’s programmes and assistive technologies. Declaration: the ISWEB CMS meets this requirement. 

Italy for Movies is the national portal for locations and film and audiovisual production incentives. A project launched in 2017 by the Directorate Generals for Film and Tourism of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, and run by Istituto Luce Cinecittà in partnership with the Italian Film Commissions Association (With the Decree-Law of 1/03/2021, MiBACT was split into two ministries: the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism)
